I’m scared to even say potential release dates on anything past Dying Times because I’ve done that before and either got sick, another deadline came up that I had to meet, or so on. I’m looking at a July release of Dying Times again, and *hope* to do each successive release once a month following that until they are all released again under the Revised Second edition set. So, I’m assuming October/November for the final fourth book to be released, and the changes will be significant enough that readers may want to go back through when the new ones come out (plus, it’s been a really long time since most people have read them).

Also, sorry for not approving the comment sooner. The notice got pushed way back on my new emails for today. I wish I didn’t have to use the approval process, but there are around 1,000 spam accounts created a month that would love nothing more than free posting rights. Even the spam blockers aren’t enough to get it all.

I rather suspect it won’t be ten years before you hit 50k. I wouldn’t be surprised if you hit it in less than three years.

It’s been quite a busy time all around. Basically, I will be working through the originals to fix lots of problems, then finish part 4 and re-release them to retailers. The first book needs the most work from what I’ve seen, and I expect the whole thing will be re-released within this year (planned by the end of the summer so long as nothing crazy happens). Most likely, I will start releasing them, and there could be a pause between 2 weeks and a month depending how editing goes. Total release should be between 8 weeks and 4 months from the time I start, which will be as soon as the third fantasy book leaves for editing on June 18th.

I “met” you on kindle last week during the whole “how to self-publishing with kickstarter” chat. I really liked your video about self-publishing with lulu, createspace and lightning source. Very informative.

I really respect how you’ve been able to keep costs down regarding the publication of your books.

Ps. I think I may have later on come across as a bit crass when I was talking about “ownership” rights and ISBN numbers. I only meant that, one of the reasons I want to full self-publish, without going through these other companies, is because of the amount of money they can make off of you by publishing through them.

I am willing to lose the 30% to go through Amazon, but I’d rather hire out the rest of the work through freelancers and keep as much of the profit as I can, without sacrificing quality.

Anyway, keep up the good work. You’re on your way. Also, if you ever want to blog about your writing adventures, drop me a line. I get about 6,000-10,000 visitors to my lit site per month. Nothing great, but it’s something.

I was just about to reply to your email, but I’ll reply here depending on which one you check first, too.

To question #1, I made the regions black so they would have some “substance”. In other words, they would have something in the layer of a defined size and shape to select; without something in the layer, you couldn’t select the shape in the layer to use later for justifying other elements.

I do plan to make a video tutorial on this because it is rather complicated to perform, but the step-by-step instructions above should help in the meantime. I’ll also send a copy of this comment in reply to your email so you can have it.
