I hold in my hand an accomplishment at long last. The Dying Times has returned from the printer, and I have the first copy ever on my desk. This is truly a happy day. I have accomplished something that many people talk about, but few people actually ever get around to doing – seeing my first novel in print.
So, between now and the end of the month (sometime at or before November 22nd, 2010), you will be able to hold the book in your hands, as well. In addition to this, you will be able to purchase your copy of The Dying Times in a variety of electronic formats for the many different electronic reading devices out there. I much prefer to read the book in print, though.
It has been a long time coming, but the time is finally here. It is an exhausting process to create a book, especially when you do everything yourself, but all of that is secondary to the true rewarding feeling that you feel when you finally hold the finished, bound copy in your hands, and you can say, “I wrote this book.”
The work has only just begun, but a milestone has been reached. Now, to find people willing to read it is my new task! Marketing, oh marketing, how I loathe thee, but you are a necessary process unto yourself.Share
